Wow! What a great turnout last night. Looks like we are going to have a fabulous 2009 Army!
Please be sure and post any questions or comments. Any feedback regarding the orientation would be greatly appreciated.
A recap of what to expect on Monday will be posted soon...

Can you tell me if Abe's Army has a facebook group page? I thought it might be useful for up-to-date announcements. I'm looking forward to the kickoff next week!
Currently, the Army does not have a facebook page. Although,it is a good idea, the problem that I see with developing a FB page is that information will then have to be posted in two places. I see lots of room for miscommunication if runners are needing to check two different places or are only checking one place. We will be updating this blog frequently with announcements and articles of interest. Everyone should feel free to leave comments, thoughts, planned group runs, socials, etc...I can add "followers" to the site so that we can all follow each other.
Most individual groups usually develop their own blogs so that your group can communicate with each other and I can post those links so that everyone can stay connected.

I thought orientation was well organized and enjoyed this beginning to the Army.
