Whether you are completely new to running or whether you are a seasoned runner, it's time to lace up those running shoes!
Abe's Army is a 12 weeek training program that will get you ready to run the Abe's Amble 10K race on August 17th, 2008, the last day of the Illinois State Fair. A 10K race is 6.2 miles and we know that you can do it.

what about potential runners? I think that I could walk a half marathon (with some training). I would like the camraderie and encouragement. M--
A walking group is available for the 10K and has become very popular in the past few years. More information should be posted by late February.
Abe's Army is not listed on the registration site given on srrc.net. Will it be posted soon?
The electronic version and registration forms should be available in the next week or two. It will be posted on the clubs website as soon as available.
I have gone to the registration link but can't figure out where to go after that?? Am I doing something wrong. HELP!
I dont believe that the electronic registration is ready just yet. Should be any day...
